All through my primary and secondary school career I had a huge problem reading, and just remembering things my parents sent me to remedial classes and had me checked by doctors.
I was put on to Ritalin which did not help, eventual I was kicked out of school in second year of secondary school. After being called stupid by teachers. I thought there was something wrong with me. I started working at the age of 16 and continued with anything I could find from cleaning out stables to working at a golf course.
In 2000 my mother read a articular about dyslexia, she asked me a few questions which my answer was yes to all of them.
she contacted a lady at a dyslexia institution and the following week I went in for some tests, they found that I was dyslexic, they gave me different color lenses to read with and allot of eye training.
After learning how to work with and use my glasses I studied further receiving BB Com and now own a company.
I thank the lady who helped me and will always be great full.
I urge you that if your children seems to be having a problem with School work, please have them testes for dyslexia don't just put them on medication.
